What Veriroo costs, and when you get paid

Joining is free. Registering pieces and keeping a private collection is free, with no limit held back from you. What costs money is selling, certifying and valuing, and this is all of it in one place.

Selling

• Originals and limited editions: a 5% platform fee plus card processing, taken from the seller’s payout. The breakdown is shown before you list, so there is nothing to discover afterwards.
• Open prints: a Veriroo fee of 15% of the print price, minimum three pounds a print, with card processing already inside it. Printing and delivery are passed through at cost.

The two look different because they are different arrangements. On an original you are the seller and we take a cut. On a print Veriroo is the seller: we take the payment, pay the lab, answer the questions and carry the returns, and you are paid what you said you wanted to earn.

Certificates

A Certificate of Authenticity uses one CoA credit, five pounds for one and less each in packs. Every limited edition number uses one when it sells.

A certificate is included free when a work passes expert verification, covered by the verification fee.

Verification

The verifier sets their own fee, which you see on their profile before requesting anything. Veriroo adds 20%, or 10% on any Pro plan.

Valuations

A Verity AI valuation uses one valuation token. It is an indicative estimate with a confidence level, not an appraisal, and it becomes available on a piece once the artist has five confirmed sales.

When the money actually arrives

You need Stripe payouts connected before you can be paid at all. That is a one-off setup and it is the most common reason a first sale sits waiting.

On an original or an edition, payment is held in escrow while the piece travels. It is released when the buyer confirms they have received it, and any royalty due to the creator is paid at the same moment.

On an open print, you are paid when the lab ships. There is no confirm step because there is nothing for you to send.

On a verification job, the verifier is paid when the report is released, either by the requester or automatically after 48 hours. Stripe starts the transfer immediately; arrival usually takes one to three working days.

What is free and stays free

An account. A private collection. Registering work. Building provenance. Recording a transfer when a piece changes hands. Your resale royalty, which is every artist’s on any plan and not a Pro feature.

Pro plans add a public gallery, a print shop, Verity managing that shop, and the halved verification surcharge. They do not unlock the right to be paid for your own work.
