Why a tap beats a piece of paper
Every tap is one of a kind
Each tap generates a fresh cryptographic proof that Veriroo verifies server-side. A screenshot, a forwarded link or a replayed code will not pass. Only the real seal, in hand, verifies.
The seal points, the record proves
The seal is bound to the work's living Veriroo record: provenance, verification history and ownership chain. The tap shows you that record as it stands right now, not as it stood when a certificate was printed.
Owner-controlled
Only the registered owner can sell or transfer the work's record. When a piece changes hands on Veriroo, the record and the seal binding move with it automatically.
Careful verdicts, on purpose
A worn tag or a partial read can fail through no fault of the artwork. So a failed check says "we could not verify this seal" and suggests a retry. We never brand a piece a fake from one bad tap.
Damaged seal? Replace it.
Seals can be retired and rebound by the owner. The work's record carries the full seal history, so a replacement never breaks the chain.

Seals come in packs from a single seal up to fifty, from £10. While first stock is landing, register your interest in the app and we will contact you the moment packs ship.

Bind a seal to your work
Fix the seal to the piece or its frame, then bind it in the app so it points at the work's Veriroo record. Verifiers can also bind seals at an expert examination.

Anyone can check it
A collector, a gallery or a buyer taps the seal with their phone and sees the live verdict and the work's record. In person, at a show, or before money changes hands.

The record does the rest
Sell on Veriroo and the provenance record, ownership chain and seal binding transfer to the new owner automatically. The seal keeps answering taps for the life of the work.
